Here is `now --public`

Nathan Rajlich (@tootallnate)

ZEIT offers an OSS plan that gives open-source maintainers free hosting. We believe that if your code is free, the cloud resources you need for your project's demos, docs, APIs and bots should also be free.

Every deployment has a special /_src URL that you can visit to see the code that's live, powering a deployment at any given time.

As an example, imagine you want to see what Dockerfile recipe was used to deploy one of your APIs. Just add /_srcto its URL!

https://my-docker-project-xnvfdisype.now.sh/_src

This URL is public for OSS plan deployments and private (visible only to you) for premium plans. However, many of our paid customers have asked for the option to share their code publicly to remain available.

With 0.21.1 we're introducing the --public flag to do so. If you want your/_src URL to be shared with the world, you can just add the flag when deploying:

▲ now --public

Install or upgrade Now to 0.21.1 run:

▲ npm install -g now

I also want to take an opportunity to thank you for kindly giving us your feedback on our public Slack.

Keep sharing away!
