Whether you live in New York or Kuala Lumpur, your location should not be a barrier to a fast cloud experience. With ZEIT Now, we strive to ensure that everyone, in every corner of the world, can load their websites and applications equally fast.
Today, we are adding an eighth Edge region in North America: YUL1, Montreal (Canada).
ZEIT Now CDN latency for some of our regions, from your current location.
What this means
The availability of a new Edge region means that we can cache your content and make it available across our network even faster, and deliver a blazing fast cloud experience globally.
Specifically, if they access from within or near Montreal, your customers will enjoy improved latency of over 2x over our previous options.
IAD1 (Washington DC)
YUL1 is Automatically Enabled
Following this announcement, YUL1 will be made available to all deployments automatically. All your customers in or near Montreal (such as those in Ottawa or Sherbrooke) are already enjoying faster speeds. You need not do anything to take advantage of our Edge region in Montreal.
Please note that regardless of your chosen deployment region, your static assets and dynamic responses will always automatically be cached across all of our global Edge regions, ensuring the quickest response time for all of your users.
We are proud to be able to offer a faster web experience to our patrons in North America.
Not only do we want to make a truly global infrastructure available, we also want it to be easily accessible. With our default Smart CDN, we are enabling every developer to improve the experience for their customers without any configuration.
